Its Curtains For Unpleasant Odours

In waste and processing applications extraction systems are often used to alleviate unpleasant odours. However, as a result of natural convection, when a plant door is opened warm air will still flow out of the top, being replaced by cooler air the bottom. Therefore the smell will nonetheless escape - potentially causing a nuisance to neighbouring properties and the general public. An alternative approach is to add an air curtain, which, by disrupting and minimising natural convection, can eliminate odour pollution. Here Andrew Saxon, marketing manager at Biddle Air Systems, tells us more.
