Functioning of the rectifier

For several reasons shops and public buildings keep entrance ways open. In shops open doors have an inviting effect and contribute to a customer friendly approach. In industrial buildings open entrances make transport easier and faster. But warm inside air escapes through the open door to the outside and cold outside air enters the room, causing draught problems.

With a Biddle air curtain with patented rectifier above the open door, these problems vanish into thin air. The unit takes in warm inside air and discharges the air stream right down to the floor. The function of the rectifier is to stabilize the air turbulence created in the fans and discharge in a laminar air stream.

The warm air now circulates back into the building and benefits to the inner clime, instead of escaping to the outside.
