All round air curtain for industrial buildings

The industrial air curtain, model InduForce, has been designed as an all round "fit to all doors" air curtain for industrial doorways. Thanks to the Biddle rectifier a lower air velocity is needed to cover the entrance and less energy is lost to the exterior.

The InduForce keeps the warm air inside the building, so this air does not have to be continually heated up or cooled down, thus saving energy. The air curtain supplies part of the heat capacity that is needed for the room. This capacity can be deducted from the total climate control equipment required.

Model InduForce (IF) can be installed above or at the side of the door. For climate reasons, Biddle recommends a vertical air stream, which means that the units should best be installed above the door. If there are architectural limitations, it is possible to install the unit at one or both sides of the door.

Horizontal mounting:
The air outlet grille should not be higher than 5 meters above the floor. Any door width is possible when units are placed next to each other.

Vertical mounting:
If the air curtain is installed at one side of the door, the max. door width is 4 metres. With an air curtain on both sides, door widths up to 6 metres are attainable. Several units can be placed on top of each other to cover higher door heights.
